Canvas
My objective was to develop a brand level art direction that would allow Canvas to own an international visual style not determined by campaigns, rather a look that will immediately differentiate them form their global competitors.
The challenge was to raise awareness as the bran expands into key international territories. We were asked to rapidly define and deploy a 360º creative approach for UK, EMEA and APAC regions.
Our strategy was to reignite trust within the education sector towards learning management systems (LMS) otherwise despised.
The opportunity was huge with Universities under new pressures to prove their value as educational experiences beyond the lecture hall become ever more important. Legacy virtual learning environments are cumbersome, unreliable and difficult to use causing low adoption rates among staff and students.
Reflect to market the liberating & modern nature of the product.
Our online creative had to reflect the disruptive and liberating nature of Instructure’s product. We needed a clean, modern design and enthusiastic, witty tone of voice that would clearly sell the benefits of the system to University administrations and teaching staff as well as inspire students and teachers alike to engage with the product.
Canvas helps make teaching and learning easier by freeing people to get on with the important stuff. Canvas isn’t just a product. It’s a breath of fresh air. It’s an educational revolution.
It’s a powerful new way to – pardon our optimism – change the world. Whether you’re a professor trying to re-schedule a lecture or a student collaborating on a project, Canvas makes it easier by automating processes, collating content and seamlessly integrating with systems you use everyday.
